Un duel au sommet opppose Gohan, Krilin et Végéta au commando Ginyu à la solde de Freezer. Celui-ci en profite pour récupérer les sept boules de cristal et obliger le grand patriarche à lui révéler comment invoquer Porunga, le dragon sacré, capable de lui conférer l'immortalité.
